So, the economy. Bit of a scary word isn’t it? EEK-ON-OME. I have great news for you, my fine reader. YOU CANNOT EFFECT THE ECONOMY IN ANY MEANINGFUL WAY.
What does this mean?
It means you need to focus on what you can control. It means that you running around freaking out about your 401k, about stock prices about crypto currency, it’s all bullshit. What are you going to do? Fix the economy? Vote? Please. Don’t be so naive. This is not meant to disempower you, quite the opposite actually. Because you cannot do anything about it, you must act as though it is a constant. That it’s rain. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s bad.
Take your job for example. Is it safe? Is there potential for you to be laid off? Yes? Damn, that sucks, get a better job. No? Great! Stack some money. Don’t go to an extravagant vacation. Be prepared.
